Borderlands Too Human?
Borderlands received an interesting comparison in a preview in this weekend's in the Dallas Morning News. The game, with its plentiful weapons and action-RPG fusion, reminded the reporter of the recently released Too Human.
"Too Human tried a similar fusion (albeit with a third-person view) and felt incomplete, overwhelming players with a huge collection of armor and weapons and puzzling them with an incomprehensible plot."
It wasn't a knock though. The reporter says Borderlands looks like an upgrade on both counts. He opines the Borderlands makes it easy to choose between guns, manage inventory and follow the plot. Previews are almost invariably favorable, but that's still good to hear. (Preview can be found here).

Interesting. I thought people in Dallas were too busy spitting and talking about high school football to play video games.
From the preview:
Basically, if the weapon is highlighted in green, it's fairly powerful, while yellow outlines signify a weaker gun.
Don't think that's right. Green is supposedly acid and yellow is high explosive.
