It's here, and it's big. Salen reports the Secret Armory of General Knoxx DLC weighs in at a whopping 1.6 gigs. Combine this with the hefty Borderlands 1.3 patch that just dropped and we have a significant update to Borderlands.

At the big gaming events like DICE, there's usually plenty to talk about during and afterwards. The problem is that the developers and publishers control all the information so we usually end up discussing exactly what they want us to.

At Dice 2010, Gearbox supremo Randy Pitchford dropped that "We're now looking at a 3-million-unit game" in reference to Borderlands. The wording is a bit vague and we're unsure whether he means that the game already sold 3 million copies or is nearing 3 million in sales.

Does anybody else feel a little cheezed with Gearbox's approach to the widespread issues that surround Borderlands?

NECA--the makers of action figures that are a helluva lotta more detailed than the Ninja Turtles in my basement--are going to be action-figurizing the Borderlands crew.

They posted on their Twitter feed today "...Borderlands, Splinter Cell, & loads more to come..." They didn't elaborate on what characters exactly but I sincerely hope there will be a Claptrap sitting on my desk this summer.

General Knoxx, the Twittering star of the next Borderlands DLC, posted the above picture today with the note "t bone junction is a haven for teenage partying." Is that a flamethrower involved? Now that's a party.

We're not sure who these guys are, but we think they've come up with an awesome premise. Talk about stuff while playing Borderlands.

Could you imagine how much more exciting the State Of The Union address would have been if Obama was shooting skags while speaking about freedom and peace? We're sure NASA or the Army could rig up some split-screen broadcast on YouTube for him like these guys did.
