i've probably said more than anyone that i will start as rowland, however i voted for mordecai because the question was "who do you want to play as the most?" not "which character do you want to start as?",and i think many people have the same line of reasoning.
plan on playing Roland the most. I love the idea of building up his medic and support trees. I'll probably play as Mordecai too, but not as much as Roland.
I voted Lilith. It was a very close call between her and Brick, but her magical abilities and elemental specialism pushed me over the edge. That, and I've always had a thing for hot redheads...
I voted for Mordecai, but now I'm not entirely sure. I mean, Mordecai can be better than roland at snipers, but Roland can overall pwn with just about anything, and with turrets and healing abilities, woot! And the fact he looks like he's actually eats 3 meals a day lol
I like all the charecters in borderlands brick is my favorite tough, I feel like everyones going to be roland or mordeci(i think i spelled it right)and theres gonna be no bricks or sirens. Hey im not sayin i dont like ronland or mordeci, there fun and ill play as them(im playin as all charesters).
i really can't help but the play the sniper role in any shooter i get my hands on...even if it calls for something different in the situation i work around it to incorporate snipers..so yes mordecai, secondary probably brick cause it's just damn fun to tank and beat the crap outta things
This is a very good poll, although quite disappointing. Although I am going to play as Mordecai, I think he is one of the narrower characters in the game. Teams that have a higher number of Bricks or Rolands would do amazingly well. You would either always stay healthy, always have ammo, or always have at least one tank. I hope it ballances out once the game actually comes out.
As soon as I heard that Roland had infinite ammo, a turret, and medic abilities.... I was wondering who WOULDN'T play as him. :/ I mean as cool as infinite ammo is, I hope they balance it a bit more.
I'll play as Mordecai no matter what though. :p He's a an extremely thin guy who prefers rifles. It's like he's me. xD
Which could translate to infinite ammo. If you consistently use the turret over and over, you could just as well stock up enough ammo that it would be hard to use it all up. I know it's not infinite, but even if it does give the entire party ammo, it's still a major advantage because it's a Roland specific skill. I'm thinking about solo play when I talk about it too, because I don't have XBL Gold, so solo is the first thing that comes to mind.

lol roland all the way i can crit at lvl 50 with a good sniper on him on 2nd playthrough for 10k and the weapon is not modded as it is the cyclops (the legendary pearl colored sniper) and it has very good stats and any other guns i just wipe my enemies away especially online.

The way I think about it,
The way I think about it, it's like this:
Mordecai -- DPS plus a pet = Warlock
Roland -- Healing, Buffs, Weapon proficiency = Paladin
Brick -- Health, Melee = Warrior
Lilith -- Magic Powers, Stealth = Mage/Rogue
I go with the Warlock every time. :p

roland doesnt have infinite ammo, but he can make his turret give him and his party more ammo, so he doesnt even have an advantage there.
