Borderlands 2 To Have Better AI, Diverse Environments And More Guns

In an interview with Kotaku, Gearbox Software's Art Director, Jeramy Cooke talked about how fresh and exciting the sequel will be compared to the original game. 

Jeramy Cooke mentioned the game will have an all-new cast of characters but the original characters will make an appearance in the game. They will all be NPCs in Borderlands 2 so don't expect them to be playable.  Read more »

Original 4 Characters Returning In Borderlands 2

In a demo showcased earlier at PAX, Gearbox Software let hardcore fans know that all 4 of the original characters in Borderlands will make an appearance in Borderlands 2. 

Gearbox Software said they will not forget Roland, Brock, Lillith and Mordecai. All of them will appear in the next game however Gearbox Software did not share what roles they will play in Borderlands 2. It appears as if they will be a part of the game's storyline but won't be as playable characters from the sounds of things.  Read more »

New Screenshot And Artwork Released For Borderlands 2

2K Games and Gearbox Software has unveiled new artwork and one new screenshot for Borderlands 2. 

The artwork shows the main character who has been dubbed "Brutus" for now. He's a short stubby fellow that has the ability to dual-wield weapons. This is a new feature for Borderlands 2. 

The new screenshot released looks very intriguing. It appears as if you'll be facing off against some really huge robots. Neverhtheless, the cel-shaded graphics are still stunning in Borderlands 2 much like it was in the original game.  Read more »

Livestream The First Gameplay Footage Of Borderlands 2

2K Games has announced  that fans will be able to live stream the first ever gameplay footage of Bordelands 2 when it makes its appearance during Gamescom.

New Borderlands 2 Images Arrive

A host of new in-game screenshots have been released for Borderlands 2 Borderlands 2 is expected for release in 2012 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

The new screenshots show how much the graphics have improved over the first game. The cel-shaded look really shines and separates this title from many other games on the market today. It appears as if Borderlands 2 will have all-new characters.

New Borderlands 2 Info Emerges

A user has already purchased the new issue of Game Informer and shared a few new details about the game on the official Gearbox Software forums

It appears as if Gearbox Software is improving on a lot of things from the original game while at the same time retaining some of the best features. The game will still have 4 player co-op. One of the new features is that you can now dual wield weapons.
